My car has the 2-DIN nav unit with Bose. I want to go single DIN with a CDR23 so that I can install the GT3 center console delete. Essentially backwards of what everyone else has done and posted about...

Can anyone help with a list of parts I need when relocating the climate controls and installing the CDR23? Do I need a different support frame in the upper console? Asked another way: if you went single to double DIN, what part(s) were left over and couldn't be reused?

There is no parts leftover, most people are cutting into their single din with a dremel.

Best for you would be to exchange your double din console with someone who wants to go double. I am assuming if they would still have to cut parts out to fit aftermarket unit.
