I wonder how the MAF affects ABS/PSM?

I'm no expert so I'll take this data right off of the repair order. Fault Code P0102 and they replaced the air filter... I did try cleaning both of those parts (before making the apt at the dealer) but the code returned immediately and since I only have an OBDII Reader I could take the issue no further.

I think the bigger questions here are what software does the dealer use that pinpoints the Sensor and would having a copy of the Durametric Software on my laptop have helped me to arrive at the same conclusion? Thoughts?

I've read somewhere that the MAF might produce electric fluctuations that might affect and give a false positive error on the PSM/ABS. As the sensor for the PSM/ABS gets fluctuating electrical signals and then give an error. So an indirect fault code.

Off topic kinda of, but after seeing the debris in your air filter, When was the last time you checked your radiators for Debris?

Wow, this will be a project but judging from what I saw in the video for debris and knowing what I found at the rear of mine it looks like it will be very worthwhile. I love this forum and thanks so much for pointing me to the video... Ralph

What did you wind up paying for your MAF sensor? I see Pelican has them for $236. I think I'm going to need one also.

A LOT more than that plus the labor. I f you feel that is the trouble spot then get it from Pelican. What is making you thing it's the Sensor, did you get a failure code like mine, do you have Durametric? Ralph

ABS failure and PSM failure lights both come on at the same time.

Changing the MAF is a quick DIY, but the job in locating the source of the error takes time I recon. You can also buy a BOSH MAF for half the price, only difference is it says BOSH on it and not Porsche. I cleaned my MAF, getting it in and out was guite easy.

Hadn't bothered to check until 5 minutes ago but my brake lights are out. I may luck out and need nothing more than a $20 part.
