They've gotta be smoother over bumps and expansion joints on the freeways....
From what I remember of the Florida causeways....the thumping from our PCARS gets to be annoying after a while, is that why you preferred the 18s over the 19s

no it wasn't the way they rode, they rode fine...and I liked the look..."a lot"...
But the tires recommended were about 1/2 inch taller than stock outside tire diameter. This gave the car the sensation that the gears were taller, thus affected low end pull too much.
The 18's, which are only, 18 - 18.5 lbs each was the right thing for me to do. I like the low end pull the car has, not the top end..which sadly I'll never get to use unless I go track it. So low end won out...the 18's are the way to go..for both looks and performance.
