Default Steering Wheel Fit

I have 2005 996 with the carbon fiber wheel that needs the clear repaired. I want to buy a used wheel while I send mine out for proper repair.

Found a 2000 996 wheel with tiptronic and looks like my airbag. How would I know if it fits? Part is 99634780463 61,472

Anyone know? They have to be the same right?

I have the carbon wheel also. Cracks in the top section of the clear only. I didn't know it could be repaired. What's the cost to fix it?

I haven't decided what I'm doing yet, having the clear repaired or having the wheel changed to leather with color. There are exchange programs where they send you a refurbished wheel for yours at about $700

I'll keep you posted once I pull wheel and determine which way I go. Got an all leather wheel off Ebay for $400.00 so now I have options.
