Default Suspension parts

I need to replace the shocks on my 04 C4S Cab. I was going to go Bilstein PSS10's but I've decided that I want to sell my car in the next few months so I don't want to drop $3k on new shocks.

If I replace with these it should be fine, correct? :/

Have you considered the ROW M030 at ~$1,400?

those sport shocks are only good if you put lowering springs with them....otherwise just get the stock replacement from bilstein (HD or OEM you can find the numbers on the website). Reason being is the sport shock has a reduced travel to accommodate lowering springs like H&R or Eibach etc

the ROW030 lowers the car, but slightly....in fact some report no lowering at all...its only 10mm at the most if you get it.

I know some whose car sat at that point anyway and when they installed 030 it didn't lower at all.

The big benefit of 030 IMO is if you need to change your shocks out anyway...going with this kit is cheaper than just 4 stock shocks plus you get new springs that MAY slightly lower your car and new bars which is nice....and the total cost is basically less.

FYI I chose H&R lowering springs with bilstein sport shocks instead of the above kit...i found them all on sale and for the springs and shocks it was all right at 1100 bucks new. I chose this cuz I really wanted a full inch drop....and this combo is really good...

Stock sways...with the drop will be plenty stiff enough....so that combo is another option that is also in that price range and I think better performance...although slightly stiffer too

I have a 2002 C4 Cabrio

If you're getting rid of it, why not just throw in used shocks and be done? Next owner may not want stiff sporty stuff. With ROW M030 so cheap, should be lots of base stuff available on the used market.

Hey Riad, the US MO30 is an option as well without any lowering involved like the ROW MO30. I have the US version now for a few years and am very happy over OEM. Hope you had a great party!

From the description below the kit: "These kits are made for a Carrera 996, 2002-2005, these will not fit a Carrera 4S or Turbo."
