Mouse over the Classic & Lifestyle area and seelct Technical Service Information from the menu.
At $110/per document or $5200 for a year's access it ain't cheap. But then again, neither are the cars

The workshop manuals are a rip no question. At $110 per section, it would cost $1100 to get a full set. You can buy the paper version at MY Porsche for around $400. Plus there are updates that come out every month. So even if you paid the $1100 for a full set, you would still need to print them and buy the paper inserts in order to keep them up to date.
TSBs are another story. You don't get those with workshop manuals. But here again you pay $1100 for a full set and then how do you keep them current? Plus, aren't there some websites where you can subscribe and get the latest TSBs on all models?
Maybe this makes sense if you run a commercial Porsche repair shop but not for an owner.

Karl,
One can get TSB's from Alldata if he/she subscribes. It is certainly cheaper than Porsche's $110 per document. However, I cannot find anything other than workshop manual chapters on the Porsche web site. Did anyone see a section with TSB's?

Karl,
I was refering to the workshop manuals from my-porche.com for about $480. They also will sell service bulletins compiled annually. I didn't even realize you could get these directly for outrageous prices from Porsche. Would you still say the on-line one is a better deal than my-Porsche.com? Or did I misunderstand your post?

Palting,
You misunderstood my post. I was making the same point as you - that buying the paper manuals from MY-Porsche is a much better deal.

I checked it out back in April but gave up when I saw the prices and the documents I could download I already had at a fraction of the cost.
Example. My-Porsche in Seaside has the 2000 wiring diagrams in paper form for $46.50 but from the Porsche site it would cost your credit card $110.
Hate to say it, but the prices on My-Porsche are full list price and you can do better if you shop around.
My-Porsche is great as they have a mostly accurate list of the technical publications you can buy, unlike any other dealer on a web site. My friend in the next county from me worked there as a mechanic and then went independent last year with his own shop in Santa Cruz. The parts manager is into Porsche publications so that is why you see them on their site but they are at full list price. Jeff
