Road trip to Canada
The plan is to leave Fl. West coast , T Springs , on Sun. 29th and head N , via I 95 .
Do DC and NYC in the middle of the day to avoid rush hours.
Get off I 95 by the time we get to Brunswick , Me, and take Hwy 1 via Camden etc , as suggested by some, head to NS , and drive the Cabot Trail , camping in the Parks , between , Motel nights, head to Quebec, and if time allows , Montreal , and home, have 15 days to complete this super journey with the 996 C 4, If it all works out !!
I posted on the Canadian rennlist a few weeks ago.
Any other suggestions would be appreciated ,
thanks in advance ,

Thank you Thank you , we shall try and have as much as fun as pos. and take as many pics as pos. its only that Iam not able to I like Lobster , just hate the way they kill them , in hot water in most places.
Camping in Cobscook Bay State Park , could be a good idea. We also thought of the other park Acadia Nat. Park, for camping. Is that a nice place ?
Look nice by how its located by the Atlantic. Just hope it doesn't get too cold at night !!

I love road trip, and yours is going to be awesome. Please post pics and details, as we are planning pretty much the same trip from West Palm all the way up to NS etc in 2016. We're taking our C4S too!

Not the kind of advice you were soliciting, but I would suggest chucking a radial tire patch kit and a 12-volt inflator in with the rest of your toolkit. Getting a puncture on a Sunday or in the middle of nowhere can suck on a road trip.
What an awesome trip to take with a 996 - the car really is comfortable enough to use as a GT.

We did something similar last fall only our starting point was Montreal and we did a great big loop around the Maritime provinces covering about 3000 kilometres in 2 weeks.
It is just beautiful driving and great activities, bed and breakfasts and great food along the way.
We took our '99 Cab and our friends followed in their Jag XK-R.
You may never want to go home!

Hope I am not "biting more than what I can chew" regarding this extended road trip to Canada
, NS furthest point, then Quebec and Montreal , before returning and camping between Motels, and only 15 days to do it in .
Well I guess we can always shorten the drive if need.
