OBC 996 - cannot access lower levels

OBC 996 - cannot access lower levels
I am having difficulty getting into the OBC. I can only move up and down the 4 top level indications, but not enter any of them to deeper settings.
I have got into the lower levels in the past. I am thinking I turned something off or it requies a reset after being parked for the winter and the battery being disconnected. I did the radio reset, so other functions work.

AFAIK, it should not need any reset but I guess it doesn't hurt to disconnect and reconnect the battery again and see if that fixes it. If not, it sounds like the stalk on the combination switch is not working. So basically the symptom is the stalk works in the up/down directions but not the fore/aft directions?
