Lightbulb Noob stuff

Just like to offer a few comments to new owners of 996's that I have experienced so far w/ my 01 C4 w/ 83k purchased in 12/13.
I'm a DYI street rodder/motor head since the 50's & could probably disassemble a small block chev blindfolded but the 996 ,--a whole nuther critter to which I'm a noob ---nothing like our 356B from 1962.
Never had to remove mufflers to replace park plug tubes before !
My biggest education so far has been this site--thanks ! , a book purchased from Amazon--"996 The Essential Companion" , & spending $50 for a OBDII code reader from Harbor freight .
These three items I would highly recommend to any 996 owner .
This last weekend a CEL came on & the code reader along w/ the book told me it was P1118 , bank 2 after CC oxygen sensor . Whew ! not a critical issue ! I got rid of the CEL to see how long it takes to reappear .
The book also told me to verify the error code by swapping the sensor w/ the opposite bank whereby if the reader changed to that bank , the sensor was indeed bad .It also told me the problem could be the SAI --great stuff I never could have figured out .
One question--the manual says I should have a clock ?? The **** is there but I can't seem to make it appear ?
Also, for you guys w/ black cars , there's an interesting article in the latest Hot Rod mag about how to apply & care for black paint . Now that all of you seasoned veterans have nodded off , that's my story for now.

The clock is digital and is located to the right of the tach just above the idiot lights. Your led display may have gone to Porsche heaven.

Thanks, started building in Nov., was sanding the interior today with 220 grit, getting ready to varnish soon.
