Default My turn now. Can anyone in Houston area please check out a 996TT for me?

Hello,

Been searching for a replacement since I sold my Boxster and found a Speed Yellow 996TT in Houston at Global Motor Cars. Wife is okay with that color now.

Can someone please look at it in person and perhaps even take it for a test drive and give me their initial impressions (body, paint, interior condition etc)? If it looks decent, I will order a PPI.

I really will appreciate your time...

Cheers and many many thanks!!
-Kalyan

I'm not in Houston now, but I'll be down there the week of the 12th. Let me know if you still need someone to check it out by then.

I'll be happy to. I bought my car at Global Motor Cars - they're right down the street from my house.

How you convinced your Mrs. that a 996TT is a Boxster replacement is beyond me. Your sales skills are obviously first-rate.

Nice looking car with hardtop and reasonably priced. I've just started looking at TT's also, in Guards Red or Yellow. If you're going to go turbo, might as well go bold, right? I'll stick with a coupe, and realistically not really ready to purchase for a while. Would be good for you to share your buying experiences in the turbo world here in this forum as I'm sure there are many others here that would be interested in hearing how the search for a turbo goes. Good luck!

Many thanks for the offer! If sandersd is unable to, I will most certainly reach out to you.

Many thanks, Sandersd! Good to know that you purchased your car from them. Hopefully, the car is in good condition and passes your initial assessment. PM sent to you.

LOL. Trade secrets! I told my wife we need a family car so I can haul our 3 yr old daughter around. It started as a 996 C2 and then landed to a TT now.

Thanks, Kcattorney. I really hope the car is as good as the pictures. I will definitely post here my experiences on my search when it ends.

I am getting excited, but I must keep it kinda low for now.

Cheers,
-K
