With One Headlight
Told the valet to keep the car up front. He said no problem.
Came out of dinner and the car was not there. I asked him where the @*$# my car was? He said garage. @!#!.
2 minutes later I heard a Porsche rev high in 1st gear and I looked up to see a 4s coming at me with 1 headlight on. I thought, surely that was not my car. Both of my xenons work and the valet could not have the audacity to push the car right in front of my face.
Well, it was my car. $%@* the valet. I am usually a very generous tipper. Not last night.
My left xenon was not on. A few minutes later I messed with the light switch. Both xenons came back on.
Anyone have any idea what the one headlight deal is all about?
Only one side of the car is illuminated, providing both light, and power savings (your batteries will drain at 1/2 speed). The valet must not have known how to turn the lights on. As to over-revving, I guess it beats lugging or stalling.
