Default Battery Leaked

I bought my C4S in the fall and stored it over our winter. When I went to get it out I noticed some weird fluids on the floor and the batter would not hold a charge. It looks like it was a gel-cell battery and the gell leaked out, and I am assuming it leaked through some weep holes to the floor?

I cleaned up the battery tray as best I could with shop towels, is there anything else I should do?

Thanks.

Make a solution of baking soda and water and flush the battery tray and everything around it with the solution. Then liberally risne everything with lots of water.

Is your storage site heated? If not battery may have frozen and cracked the case.
Next year hook up a trickle charger or take the battery out.
Don't close the frunk until you have located your release cable.
It should on the right side behind the bumper cover. You have to pull the right front wheel and wheel well liner to get to it. Reroute it to a place where you can get to it easier this year when you pull the bumper cover off to clean the radiators.
