As the title suggests this is my 1st post. Coming over to the dark side from the Corvette Forum. Have been a vette guy for 20+ years and just yesterday purchased my first ever Porsche. Sold an '01 C5 and bought a 2002 C4 Cab, manual 911, (it appears you guys call them 996's). Much to learn, frunk, PO, RMS, IMS etc.
This forum appears much more civilized and buttoned down than the CF guys.
In two days of driving, love everything about the car, totally different in a good way from the vette.
Lastly, I know this thread is useless without pictures. Will take some, figure how to load them to this site and post up.
Looking forward to the advice and tips on how to get full enjoyment from this incredible car.
As directed by the senior leadership, pics added. I like this forum already, 25 pages of things to know about the 996, how cool is that?
