Default Door Sensor?

Hi all. This morning I noticed that the dome lights were coming on and off (all three at the same time...left, right and center). When they were off I would barely lift the interior door handle slightly as I drove and they would come and stay on intermittently.

I thought maybe a loose wire to the lights but when I tried to set the alarm, it wouldn't work, so the system thinks the door is open.

Has anyone experienced this? Thanks in advance!

It's most likely the microswitch in the door latch assembly is bad, or has a bad ground somewhere. Easiest way to repair it is to replace the mechanism. It's not too hard to do, and you can find the mechanisms on ebay for relatively cheap.
