Here is a link to the part (part number 99610798100):

Yes, mine will eventually be for sale, when I get around to it, probably not for a couple of months though. I’m expanding my garage, and there’s no way to get the 2002 onto the lift for a while - plus the 2000 has the transmission out and is taking up space on the lift.

the first owner of my car damaged his oil pan, so the dealer serviced the car and installed the shield, has been on there ever since, I find it helps a lot on our rough pothole strewn streets and in the winter through the ice formed ruts. It is a bit of a pain when doing an oil change as the oil tends to splash all over the inside of the shield, usually I just wipe it off and every second oil change remove it and properly clean it.

Another common malady happened
I think Ive had them all now
The shifter cable malfunction, disconnecting from transmission
Quick fix on the road repair with some zip ties
Time for new cables, a job for this weekend
At least spring has sprung

Jack stands! Never get under a car with just a hydraulic jack holding it up. Glad you fixed it, but be careful!!!

Whew. Glad you had them. I hate to hear horror stories.
Totally personal preference, but I like to safety wire the cables instead of zip tying them.

zip ties were just to get me home, breakdown happened at my office, on a major thoroughfare during rush hour traffic, needed to limp home so i could fix it for good, new cables came in today, will install and add back up measures to ensure it doesnt happen again, the car does have 165 000km on it, original shift cables

Fun car! I had an E30 325 - wanted a M3, but took what I could get. I spent way too much of my limited income back then with Bavarian Autosport and Turners. Bilsteins, H&R springs and a Dinan chip made it even better. Enjoy!

Your BMW brings back fond memories. My wife and I bought one exactly like yours even the same color, brand new. The car was really hers and she drove the heck out of it. Just an FYI the front lower lip on yours does not look original, it should be larger and same as body color. Found this pic on Google. Have fun with it.

Yup
It's not the correct iS lip
I have that sitting ready to be put on
This is a regular lip
Then again I might go and source the Alpina cow catcher type 162 spoiler
That looks the best
Don't worry, I'm a bit of an e30 nerd
This is probably the 20th e30 in the family and my 3rd

Spring service on the C4S and came across a few of the common maladies
Age related
Cleared a few CEL codes, cleaned and adjusted suspension, found a cracked oil filler tube and a coolant line fitting, cleaned MAF and throttle body, new O2 sensors
She's as good as new, well almost
