My experience with the DWS is the same as yours -- softer ride, not as sharp handling. On my C350 I recently changed the rears to Michelin Pilot Sport AS 3 and the fronts are Michelin MXM4 and I notice no problem in wet or dry handling for the daily drive. When the fronts wear out, I'll get AS3 on the front.
