Default Tool roll

Look at how the roll has broken down

If you pick it up its sticky and little pieces fall off
I need another that's perfect OEM
I don't need tools just the roll
Anybody else's tool roll turning to crap. ?

Speaking of the tool roll tools, does anyone have a list of all of the items/tools that should be found in a complete factory tool roll?
My roll has spaces with no tools which does not automatically mean something's missing, but how to know?

I looked at mine Sunday for the first time. No spare slots. Happy to see a tow hook. Kit had never been used by the looks of it.

This is what I've got in my tool roll. It really is just tools for changing tires, tow eye, and the tool to pop out the headlights. I guess I am used to the larger selection found in the BMW toolkits.

One caution. Keep the wheel lock socket in the cabin instead of the frunk, in case you need to remove the wheel and wheel liner to fish for the frunk release cable

Good thought Ahsai, but I relocated the frunk release cable so that it is accessible via the tow hook hole. No fishing around in the wheel well and fender any more!

Yeah the e28 ones were great as you could fix like 80% of the car with it.

My SHTF tool kit for 996. It fits perfectly at the bottom of the frunk.
