Post Porsche magazines

Over the last year or so I have been buying two mags: 911 & Porsche World and GT Purely Porsche. IMHO they are both good mags and have different merits. But especially I like the adverts. It's always good to see the price of all the bits you dream of getting for your car someday.

Anyway, I was wondering if you guys Stateside get any special Porsche publications that we Limey's can't get hold of, or for that matter have never heard of.

I agree with the Christophorus comment. It seems the magazine is more concerned with artistes who nail two sticks together.

You lost me. Are these two mags "Pano" and "Christophorus"?

Yes, one is the publication of Porsche (Christophorus) and the other is from the Porsche club of America. (PCA)

If you know a bit French, than you should try FLAT 6 or RS Magazine.

I subscribe to "Excellence" and "GT Purely Porsche". Both very good reads for long winter months...

Have been getting Pano for over 30 years. Still good with good ads but maybe getting a little stale. They're almost too pro-Porsche. Porsche could build the biggest piece of s##t in the world and they'd still gush all over it. I find myself enjoying Excellence more these days and the ads are just as good. I'll probably be in the PCA till I die so I'll be getting Pano hopefully for a long time anyway...

I read 911 & Porsche World, Panorama and Excellence regularly, and enjoy all three. I also agree that Christophorus is generally a waste.

There is another, 9 Magazine, but I've found it to be less than great. Not only that, but I was contacted to submit a short writeup on my Boxster S for the current issue, and was horribly misquoted. Not even close. Like 80% completely made up details. And I was told I would get a copy sent to me gratis, but I never got it. I've basically written this magazine off, and would probably encourage y'all to do the same.

GT Purely Porsche - it's the best
Excellence - in my opinion a close second
911 & Porsche World - a good read
Christo - only 'cause its free

Do you guys get "EVO" in the US? It's my absolute favourite performance car mag.

I subscribe 911 & Porsche world and Excellence, both I think are really good.

Quite often I buy GT Purely Porsche but they're not too 'experts' when it comes to Porsches. I'm not too happy with their knowledge.
Photos all are excellent though!

Then I get Pano also because I'm a member. it's quite good too (I especially like the motorsport columns, also in 911 &...)
