Default quick muffler question

On a 996.2 ( or any of them really), is there a difference between mufflers for a wide body vs a narrow body, or maybe is it just the tips or the spacing or something thats different? Looking to pick up a complete set and I ran across a c4S set but not sure if they will work on my NB?

I looked in PET and it shows a different part number for the WB so I'm guessing something is different?

Mufflers are identical (turbo excluded). Tips are different.

I assume that's because they are bent at a different angle? And just to make sure, you are talking about the chrome tip AND the 6" or so pipe that connects to the muffler, not just the chrome tip?

I think it's both, but I'm not entirely sure. I bought a set of lightly used mufflers from a 996 MK II C2 for my Fister conversion and they bolted right onto my car with no issues. I didn't change the exhaust pipes or tips.
