I did my replacement of my headlight nozzles today after the previous set's covers flew off at highway speed. Use a video on Youtube to get started but had to modify the way I did it because it made more sense. I ordered the parts from Suncoast who were 25% cheaper than the local dealer and Pelican. Fairly simple procedure. Haven't tested them yet though so the proof will be in the pudding.
I was surprised(pleasantly) at how easily the headlights were removed. I previously had an E60 BMW and if you have ever tried taking those out(change a bulb for instance) then it is clear that the Stuttgart engineers had better ideas than their Munich counterparts

I use mine frequently in the mountains. They work well, although they can get stuck in the "up" position when it's really cold.

One thing to make sure you do is shove the headlight back in place firmly. I had the left light go out today while driving(after it flickered a little. Turned out I didn't seat that properly. Would have bad if my light went floating down the road under heavy brakingdde31 Sent from my iPhone using Rennlist

Finally got a ski rack and winter rims - driving home last weekend from skiing. Told my little man to "check out the headlights". I slowed down to about 40mph, pushed the stalk and subsequently said, "oh, crap - I think I just lost something!!"
Yup, lost one cap. A new one should be here on Friday. I will say, it did make a difference spraying the lights (I do it on my A6 Avant a lot).
On another note, it was interesting to here the comments of several people as I pulled into a snow covered lot with the C4S.
