Default interior panel issue

I have an 03 C2 where the vertical interior panel under the rear window "Porsche" label has 'popped' or unclipped out. I tried to pop it back in and, alternatively, pull it out. Its not budging. Before I muscled it any further at the risk of breaking a plastic clip (you all know how annoying that can be), can anyone tell me if it is a clip I just 'pop' back in or do I need to take it apart? (it's bowed out presently)

Any chance of a photo of the panel you are referring too?

Here's a poor photo. You are looking down through the rear window of my 996. You can barely see the "Porsche" decal on the window. If you look closer, you can see a silver metal 'clip' that is now visible because the panel attached to it has popped out. It looks like the panel should just push back in and the clip holds it but that is not happening...it just won't clip.

this panel is held by clips only (at least on my 04)

do you have a trim removal kit? if the answer is no I recommend getting one for $5 at harbor freight.

My clip breaking rate has gone to almost 0 since I bought one.
