Default Windshield wind noise

Hey guys,

I've got a 2002 Targa with 80k miles, has a considerable amount of wind noise coming from the top center of the windshield when going above 70 mph or so. Not noticeable at slower speeds. The trim surrounding the windshield up there is quite cracked, maybe due to UV or heat damage. Anyone know of an easy fix for this or have the same issue?

Thanks,
Chris

Thanks Hurdi, but that's a posting for wind noise on a cabriolet hardtop, I've got a targa.

I once had a windshield replaced and noticed a lot of wind noise. Took it back to the shop and what they did was pull back the molding and fill it up with sealant. It stopped the noise after letting it cure for a few days. Maybe give that a shot?
