IMS "Eternal Fix Roller Bearings" - any good??
Do any of you have any experience with this product offered by Vertex Auto:

IMS fix appears to be a good design using roller bearings instead of ball bearings. Also claims no need to install without disassembly or removal of engine which would be huge.

Three Wheelin'
No idea, no experience. But it seems logical. Only concern is misalignment, from earlier post. I'm tempted, but would like some data from Vertex. Wonder how many have been sold. Seems like external oil supply is a worthwhile add as well.

High load? Really?
I agree with Vertex's statement that roller bearings are superior to ball bearings in many high load applications. But I have never understood that M96 IMS bearing failures are attributable to sustained high loads...IM shaft misalignment/engine case circumstances not withstanding.
The preponderance of the literature about IMS bearing failures seems to point to loss of lubrication within the bearing domain; i.e., engine oil "washing" away the bearing grease due to bearing seal deterioration.
Time will tell if the Vertex product is truly "eternal".
