Default Anyone tried the Cab Tops on Ebay?

Anyone tried the German Haartz A5 canvass from Auto Top Factory LLC. They're only $379 and the plastic window is stitched. Feedback related to their tops is 100% positive.

I am in the same boat right now as my window seperated. I glued it with aqua seal and its holding very well but looks like crap.

There was another thread here few weeks ago. Someone vouched for the sierra top. They are about 390 on ebay.

Default Update on ebay Cab tops and insights

OK, I called on the Auto Top Factory tops ($379) and talked with them. They said the Sierra tops from Auto Tops Direct that are recommended on this forum are actually manufactured by GAHH and are hundreds less ($520+ shipping). The CEO of the Auto Top Factory (different company/competitor) is one of the "H"'s in GAHH and their tops are as good--so she said.
So, for German A5 Haartz canvass and a plastic window we're looking at $850 for a GAHH
Same fabric with a Sierra top from auto tops direct for $520 + shipping supposedly manufactured by GAHH
And same fabric from Auto Top Factory from former GAHH exec at $379 with free shipping. I ordered the $379 top.
If the thing lasts ten years I'm way farther ahead. When it gets in and is installed I'll provide an update.

Great news, I will buy one this year and install next. I am still looking for reasonable installer in the $70-80 range. So far everyone wants $110/hr

Hello all - did either of the posters ever install the tops mentioned above? I am shopping for one right now and would love to hear feedback. Thanks.

Yes, have had it about 18 months and it is perfect. No complaints. I have a post-install thread on here somewhere.

Good to hear. Did you install it yourself?

No and a lot of posts here will tell you it's tougher than an engine rebuild. I bought the cheap top and had an upholstery shop install it. I believe I was $1000 all in. That's half price vs. the "do it right or don't do it" fallacy you'll see all over the forum.
BTW it was really tight so I called them (Auto Top Factory LLC.) They told me that was intentional and to park it the sun and spray water on it for a few days. Was perfect advice. I can't speak for your installer but the top is first rate.
