Default Coolant Reservoir Drain Tube Routing?

Hey guys,

Had a leaking coolant reservoir cap and excess coolant dumping out of the reservoir drainage nipple right onto the exhaust, turns out the drainage tube is missing (#10 in pic). Just ordered a new one, but not sure where to route it. Seems pretty short, so it might not even be necessary, but I'd like to route it to the correct location if it's purpose is to keep coolant off of something important. Any tips?

Thanks,
Chris

I would think the part when replaced should be exactly where it is supposed to be. No tips needed IMHO.

I routed mine down so it extends below the engine. I used a length of hose that suited what I needed as the factory hose was too short.
