I love my 03 C4S and looked for two years before finding it, but totally worth it.
Not only did I get a great price on a great car, but I was able to the the color combo that I wanted(white/blk). Further, I got an upgraded ecu, techart wheels, rear spoiler, and pss9 suspension. Take your time and find what you love, and don't rush.
Yes, if only $5k then no brainer to get a TT, but for $15k more, it is a different decision.
