It looks really sharp, and it’s unique today. So many Porsches now are black on black, the red really stands out. I especially like the darker reds, like Terra Cotta.

I know this is an old thread, but I was at the dealer to pick up a part and they had a Night Blue 911 Carrera 4S with a Bordeaux Red interior. In addition, the seat inserts were white. It looked amazing!!

^^^ This ^^^ Personally not my cup 'o tea, but if the right car came along I wouldn't ignore it outright...

Red seems to wear well compared to other colors from what I've that seen.
But, the faded shade Porsche chose is horrible to my eye.

When I first saw my car listed on eBay, I hated it and skipped it. A friend (and P car aficionado) convinced me to take a closer look. I thought it needed more black to break up the red, and so I added black mats. I was going to add a black wheel, but now love my $1800 factory ordered carbon fiber/leather wheel.

The worst part of it is the carpet, that looks more salmon than red, and looks faded, but it's not since it's consistent in color, even under the dash and footwell area where no sun shines.

But now, as I said, I love it. Plus, between the carbon fiber and added optional leather package, my car has nearly $20k in interior options! So yea, I like it now. (but that two tone job above with black carpet looks fantastic!)

I see I need a pic with the black floor mats installed. I'll have to do that...

BTW, I have since treated the seats and they are cleaner than in these pics.

There is always a market for unusual paint and interior options I have seen a few White cars with Lobster or Can Can Red interiors, love them.
In fact any leads on a 996 White/Red car I am interested.

Default Boxster Red leather different than Can Can red and Bordeux Red

Not a fan of Boxster Red, (looks faded, but was special leather option for years on 986/996) but I do like the Can Can , Lipstick and other real red interiors.

Friend had a nice G body GP White over Can Can Red, It present very well and was winner at Concurs many times.

IMHO, it looked a ton times better.

First person that came to see it bought it full price.
Said the pix didn't do it justice

Mike, was that a” order to sample interior”? My build sheet say “black/order to sample”, but I don’t know the color code because it’s not boxster red. But your interior looks like mine. Do you know the color or code? Thanks
