Angry Help! Low beams not workin

Parking and driving lights are working fine.

I open the fuse door but there is no way to tell which fuse is the one.
Any ideas what could be the fault?

The high beams only work when I hold the lever towards me or the steering wheel.

Thanks in advance.

Might be the light switch, I understand they can go bad. Fuse is another good thought.

I just don't know which fuse to check.

Is it possible that part of the switch is working since parking and driving lights work?

Also is the more than one fuse?

Thanks!

My guess is the headlight switch itself. Happened to mine earlier this year - very easy DIY w/ great instructions. Common issue w/ 996's.

Should be one of these folded up in the fuse box cover. If both are out +1 for switch

Nthing the bad switch; it's a well known failure item. The light switch is a fairly easy replacement, but it's a pricey part- just over $100, IIRC. If you're handy, you can dismantle it and repair it; probably just a dirty or bent contact.

Check Pelican parts for the switch, I think that is where I may have gotten mine. No wait, it was somewhere else, maybe sunset Porsche, in any case was around $80, and 15 minutes or less to replace.
