Default 2002 Porsche 996 C2 Clutch DIY Necessary Parts List?

Well it seems like this topic has been tackled here and there but there is no definitive cumulative list anywhere. So I was wondering if you guys can help me out.

My clutch is slipping. When in second gear and I give it some gas, it revs and I go nowhere. And now it smells like a burning clutch.

Clutch nor the IMS has been changed and I have just about 100k miles.

Rear main seal started leaking about 6 months ago.

So with all that, and my mileage I am assuming the following:

Clutch kit w/ Throw out bearing
Flywheel - considering the mileage
Rear Main Seal
IMS bearing replacement (LN or Pelican - any thoughts from someone who has seen or made a recent decision?)
997 clutch fork - not sure which one, part number would be nice if you have it)
Clutch master and slave cylinder (is this even necessary)

Any other parts or thoughts on the matter would be greatly appreciated. I think I may go aftermarket clutch and flywheel since I will be taking my car off the road in the near future for exclusive track use.

Thanks again guys!

Philip, do you know what maintenance has been completed in the past (outside of IMSB, clutch & RMS)? Always a good idea to check the coolant hoses as well as the serpentine belt right-off-the-bat.

If you're going to perform the clutch work yourself, there are DIY articles here on Rennlist as well as instructions we've put together here: Replacing The 996 Clutch

We offer Super Clutch Kits which include the following:
Clutch Disc
Pressure Plate
Pressure Plate Bolts
Throw-Out Bearing
Throw-Out Bearing Guide Tube
Flywheel
Flywheel Seal
Flywheel Bolts
Clutch Release Lever and Associated Parts
Main Shaft Seal
Clutch Alignment Tool

As well as clutch kits from SPEC suitable for the track:
SPEC Clutch Options

We have additional reading including Common Engine Problems with the 996 which also includes IMS bearing kit options and how-to's.

How much longer do you anticipate the car to be street-driven before a dedicated track car?

Add:

RMS (if its not in list above)
replace the SR Pelican SR bearing with the CH bearing (sorry Mark)
locking tools
IMSB tools
RMS tool

Is it possible to do a GT3 RS Clutch and flywheel conversion? Or any thoughts on aftermarket such as SPEC? I really would like a lightened flywheel but then I need to goto a sprung hub. Any thoughts are appreciated.

I've done the research regarding the flywheels throwing off balance but if I had the sprung hub and clutch assembly balanced would that have the same effects of dampening of the dual mass flywheel?

They make HD clutch kits for the M96. Wouldnt that be easier?
