Does anyone know if the sun roof motor from a 01 996TT work on a standard 2000 996
I've been shopping for a replacement motor for my sunroof and always seem to get out bid.

Yes it will as they are the same part number.
As a matter of fact the 997 sunroof motor is the "new" direct replacement 997-624-211-00 for all 996 series cars (with sunroof).
