Default Darrick (Capt. Obvious) was your car in Miami this weekend?

Darrick, we were in Miami over weekend for a family wedding and I thought I saw your car. Looked like an exact match including wheels. If it wasnt you, then your car has a twin in the Miami area. We were by the Marriot Hotel.

Definitely wasn't me!

Wonder who it could be, since I have the only set of those wheels for a 911. Funny enough, my friend Sergio (who lives in Miami) has a the same wheels as me, but they are on his BMW M3.

Darrick,
Do you mind me asking why you are selling your car? Moving on to something different?

Darrick,

Did you go back to Audi?, next year I am 2 yrs on my 911 and I am starting to think of something different, love the 911 on the 3 DE’s I do a year but don’t love it driving on crap Midwest roads, I almost prefer my 01 A6 winter beater as my DD.
I was thinking of going back to 1 car (at the moment have the Audi as a winter DD), either an S4, S6 or even E63 AMG.
Be interested what you go for in the end

I'm selling it for a variety of reasons.

1. I rarely keep cars for more than a year or two. I'm infamous amongst my friends for my car ADD.

2. My wife is going back to school, so it would be helpful to free up some cash for that.

3. In addition to the wife's schooling, we'd like to do another remodel on our house, so again, the extra cash would be helpful.

4. I just don't drive the car all that much. When the weather isn't nice, I usually drive my truck; and when the weather is nice I usually ride my motorcycles.

No 996 owner in their right mind would dare do a road trip from Seattle to Miami...that is without replacing the IMS at least twice en route! Sorry KK, I couldn't resist! I sure hope you drove the 911 down to Miami!
