Hi,

The battery has been disconnected from the car, but now when it is back again, the radio is gone ! I have entered the code for the PCM, everything is working, telephone, navigation etc, but the radio is completely gone.

Any ideas or someone who has experienced something similar ?

What year is your car? If yours is before 2003, how did you enter the radio code if completely gone? If completely gone and does not light up with power button, it has a separate fuse to check.

The year of the car is 2002. When powered up again it asks for the PCM code and I entered the code.
The fuse is ok.

If your radio powers up and asks for a code but the code is not working, I would check the code on Renntech.org. They have a thread where Loren will find your code.

I had this happen, and I called a Porsche dealership and they walked me through pressing a few buttons which revealed the stereo's serial number, and then they were able to give me the correct code. I believe after you punch in the code, you have to hit the down arrow seek button to enter it.

I already have the correct code .. Everything in the PCM works, but the radio is completly gone :-S

If I push the Cassette button it says 'no cassette' even though there is a cassette in - if I push the CD button it says no 'CD PLAYER FOUND' even though the cd player is loaded .. If I push the Audio button the screen is almost blank.

So you have power but no function. Might try another battery disconnect and/ checking of the code with Loren at Renntech.
