I searched the forums and found out that most of unlock/lock questions are in regards to getting a beep or honk when locking the car.

My questions is getting the headlights to flash. My car does not flash when locking/unlocking the car. Is this an option that can be turned on? It would be helpful to get confirmation that the car is locked from a distance.

Mine flashes the turn signals. Does yours do that?

Mine flashes ones when i unlock it and twice when i lock it and arm it. If the car is unlocked, and i hit the button twice really quick, it will beep the horn and the light will stay on for couple of seconds solid and it will be locked and armed.

I think the fob is an absolute piece of s...t and can not believe they made it this way. First off, put two buttons, lock and unlock so i know what i am doing, and the range?!? Some times from two feet it's a challenge.

Theres a TSB and easy fix for that. Mines at least 60 to 80 feet now.

FYI, two quick hits of the fob lock disables the interior IR sensors (hence the beep from the horn).

How do you reengage the ir sensors again?
