Default Replacement keys

Greetings from the islands, lost the keys for my 99 carrera and called dealer in fl. They can cut keys but need car to program key to work. Found a place online that has complete key lockset with 2 modules that was removed from a parted 99. They said once I change everything it will work. There is no dealer on island, and locksmith doesn't have software to help. Can anyone provide any help to resolve my dilemma? Thanks

When you says modules, do you mean the FOB's, or the actual programmed, body module?

If you are changing locks and modules then ask for chassis number of donor car.

You will need to change the locks to cater for different key blades. ( door, ignition and centre console). You will need to change ECU and Alarm box ( under seat) also. The ECU, alarm box and fob are a matched set. You will need chassis number if you need replacement remote fob in future.
