They can be reused if the warning light is not on, but they do occasionally break on removal.

My wear warning light just came on yesterday. Rears are worn. I ordered Mintex pads and new sensors. Rotors have almost no lip. I called machinist and he said he can turn drilled rotors. If the rotors can clean up and stay within 22.6 mm minimum thickness, I think I'll be good. I know that turning rotors on these cars is debatable so I'd like some input from anyone having bad/good experiences on using machined rotors. I'm also using new caliper bolts as recommended.

Don't turn them unless they are badly scored. It will just take a little longer to bed them and you will have a little more swept area.

I called my mechanic buddy and as per fpb 111, he advised that I just change the pads unless I have pedal surge which I don't have. So, I will just change out the pads and the damaged sensor.
