I just took a set of hr sports off my 2003 c4s. They were on the stock struts, us spec m030. The ride was flat, lowered the car nicely BUT it was too much for my daily driver. My driveway is steep and it robbed.

I went with euro m030 kit from Gert. I could not be happier. It's comfortable, well matched and still lively

Drawbacks: it is not as flat as hr springs. It floats a little at high speed. At the end row m030 fits my use better.

Hrs are liste in classifieds for sale of you are interested.

Default C4S suspension

My 2002 C4S has now 70k miles on its components and it's time for an upgrade. coilover is not an option but Bilstein HD or Sport are. Stock springs with the HD's or H&R springs with Sport. I go 2-3 a year on a track and 3- 4 Autocross'
The MO30 springs are cheaper at $242.47 from the dealer but they could not confirm that they will fit my car. Any suggestions?

Thank you. I live in the Hill Country and my driveway will likely not be suitable for a car that's too low and the H&R's sounds like do just that.

Just out of curiosity, can you use M030 springs on stock 4s/turbo shocks?

I read in some posts that others have done it. I would like to know if someone has some experience with the stock C4S springs and Bilstein HD's.

Also, I'm told I can use the C4 MO30 RoW kit for the 2002 C4S since the difference in weight is not much. Has anybody done that? The standard suspension should be MO30 US meaning I don't need the swaybar from the kit since it should be installed already.

Please disregard the questions above. I found the answers provided by mrtoro in another thread and ordered a kit from Gert.

you wont regret working with Gert nor the m030 on c4s. It is a great match to the car. Make sure to get proper alignment specs for the car. Row and US sport specs are different. ask gert for the correct print out and give to your mechanic/indy/dealer.

Good to hear. My car is compliant and a lot of fun to drive.
