Got mine, (FEDEX) from UK in about 4 days, excellent service! As others have said, super easy install. I added a zip tie, not the prettiest, but need to make sure they don't come off at the track. pix to follow. Thankx for the heads up!

Everything is cost/benefit. How many 996 owners cooling capacity is compromised by the debris buildup?

Here is my 2003 with zunsport grill in matte black.

I ordered http://www.zunsport.com/ in the uk and have to say that their customer services are world class.
I ordered the pre-facelift version by mistake and after explaining what I needed they sent me the right face-lifted version on a exchange basis.
Excellent services!

ps. and personally I think it looks great .....

I keep going back and forth. Sometimes I like the look and then other times I'm ready to paint it flat black or remove. I just don't love the front of the car with nothing. At least if I change my mind it takes 15 seconds to remove!

This type of mod is all personal taste. I personally think it looks better without them not to mention you will be blocking some of the air flow. If you worried about debris building up on the rads just clean them once/year. If your looking to change the look of the front end maybe invest in the aero front bumper. In my opinion the aero bumper looks much better.

That's not exactly the way aerodynamics works.

The devil is in the details with regards to the obstruction and distance from obstruction to where its measured.

Some obstructions actually increase or decrease airflow, depending upon the size and shape.

I'd wait to hear back from owners who have done this in a hot environment to see what their observed results are. I suspect it doesn't do too much, either way, and is a pure aesthetic.

Hmmm, where are you guys driving? My rads fins stay clean.

I do like the black ones better than the SS.

Had a change of heart on those silver grille inserts, the more I stared at them, they tackier they looked. Decided to paint them anthracite. Much cleaner now in my opinion. These pics aren't that great, but in person it's unique while still being discrete.
