Default Suspension problem?

Hi All,

Lately I noticed that when I'm braking while driving over bumps, the ABS kicks in. Would this indicate bad shocks/struts? My thinking is that if my shocks/struts are bad, the tires may be losing contact with the road surface while driving over bumps and so the ABS engages. Any thoughts?

Thanks

If you put pressure over each wheel does the corner stay stiff with quick rebound or does it feel squishy? If squishy you may need new shocks. Do you know they were ever replaced? How many miles on your car?

The other thing it could be is "braking while driving over bumps".
