Default Stereo amp wiring

Hi I have wired up a four channel amp under the hood and fitted new Alpine speakers in the dash and rear of the car. The only free grommet available to run the cables was behind the battery.

I was concerned running all the leads together, speaker wires amp remote wire (switched power) and two sets of rca, there would be engine whine noise. Sure enough there is, and its very high pitched at high revs.

I'm pretty sure its the result of the remote lead running through the grommet next to the rca and speaker cable. Does anyone have any experience wiring an amp in a 996 or boxster? Did you run the remote wire through then same grommet to the back of the head unit? Or is there a better solution?

I have checked the earth point on the amp and its fine. Wired it to a bolt used on the hood release mechanism and made sure it was on bare metal.

Another good grommet to use would down by the pedals. That's where I ran my laser jammer & detector...
