Default Small Key ?

Along with the usual key came a very small key (a little over an inch long), what does this open?

FWIW the small key with 944s usually is for the wheel locks. Look at you wheel lugs, is one different on each wheel?

Thx for the replies, but it's neither - this is a very small key w/round top.

having a "small key" is why most of us own Porsche's in the first place - deal with it - dont shout it from the rooftops

Either that or a Monster Truck!

Could be a key for something else left behind by previous owner. Storage lock, bike/ski rack, key to the Love Nest....

If it's not the valet key, pic would be worth a thousand words on this one.

Just make sure it's not a key to some safe or safe deposit box. LOL

I once bought a BMW and a couple years later, I found a few hundred bucks wedged between a few pages in the owners manual. Someone must've stashed it as an emergency cash and forgot about it.

I have a Porsche AND a big-*** truck. Do two negatives make a positive?

Dang, you find my cash I. The manual. Totally forgot about it! I'll send you my address..

Funny, but I actualy did almost the same thing. I had a wad of 8 hundred dollar bills, from selling a car cash + check, nd was going out of town. So I decided to save the cash for some mad money and stuck it under the rubber pad that is in the bottom of one of the drawers in my roll around tool chest, and promptly forgot all about it, for about 4 years, until I was cleaning up and organizing the old tool box, and voila! Found money! In fact, that was one of the reasons I decided to splurge on the PS2s. Good timing.

usually they come in pairs though as it is very difficult to try to remove the radio with one key.

I would mail the key back to the previous owner.
