Default Well, that's a nice surprise! Tubi Style Italian cans on my 996

Spent a little time under the 996 today, including some wire wheel work to clean up the visible exhaust components. I also wiped the grime off the mufflers to find that they're Italian Tubi Style cans, complete with Italian labels and serial numbers. That's about $2500 worth of surprise.

So, previous owner installed:

Full aerokit
Full suspension package, including adjustable end links
Italian exhaust

I wonder what other surprises are in store...

Yes, me.

Do you have the gen 1's or gen 2's? Edit: the ones in the vids are gen 1's.

Any pics from the underside you can take with your camera?

Also, even though they are manufactured by Tubi(which is in Italy and Italian company), they are made for and distributed by Champion Motorsports per their specs.

You got some nice add on's from the previous owner.

These are one of the most expensive mufflers for the 996 besides the Kreissieg exhaust.

Mine came with headers too and I had no idea until it was pointed out on during the engine refresh thread. Different brand than your but it was still a $3500 when new.

what kind of headers?

Damn Imo000, you did really well.

Unfortunately the only thing my car came with is a new air freshener and clear side markers along with a couple door dings.

Yes, I lucked out with not only the exhaust butnthe entire car. Mine is a B&B exhaust system, only things stock are the catalytics. It sounds way better than stock. Just like my 928, the 996 was a non runner too, I was expecting an IMS bearing faliure but turned out it was a skipped timing chain and the engine was totally fixable. 100 hours of work later, it was running again.
