My C4s had HR sports over US spec M030 struts installed by previous owner. The stance was great and handling was flat but this is my DD in Denver and I had to change.
After much reading, reseraching and emails with Gert Carnewal, I ordered his ROW M030 kit without sways, since there is no diff between US v ROW.
Front install was a little challenging. Especially the ball joint on king pins. Rented a kit from advanced auto that had a ball joint extractor that barely worked on it. I disconnected the front half shafs from the front diff rather than king pins. Front took about 7 or 8 hours with front diff fluid change as well. Rear was 4 hours, for a total of 11 or so hours. I took my time and learned a lot about the suspension of this particular car while at it.
Also changed the driver strut mount since it was starting to seperate. New tie rod ends as well.
The car is transformed. The suspension s not as flat as HR springs but very compliant, comfortable and predictable. I took care of a couple of rattles in sway bar end links which quited the car. With the quiet cabin and new siuspension, it feels like a new car again. Love it.

There are no fitment issues with row m030 and our us spec c4s cars. The difference is the spring rate for the rears. C4s is heavier in the back compared to c4. I talked to Gert at Carneval and he mentioned the difference is negligible and people had great feedback putting the row kit on c4s. I conquer that as I could not be happier with the results especially after getting my alignment yesterday.
The struggle was that I have never done suspension work on a c4 before. Front half shafts and the kingpin ball joint was troublesome. Once I figured it out it was a breeze. Rears are very simple. I would recommend the kit to anyone who uses their car as a dd and may see track time once or twice per year.

That is correct. That kit with part numbers is a direct fit. I would suggest emailing Gert through his website Carnewal. Stance is only slightly lower. Nothing like hr sports. I am thrilled with the set up. Gert sent me the row m030 alignment specs which I gave my dealer and they conquered the fitment and alignment specs. The tech at the dealer even complemented the choice and the car.
