That's a great idea for covering the entire area. The paint under the bumperettes is nasty after never being cleaned over 10+ years of life on the back of a car.
A little over two years and almost 20k miles. Very reliable; fluids, front pads, brake light switch, air bag light switch, a weak coilpack, and had to reverse some modifications by the previous owner.

How today went - car towed to Porsche tech for new slave cylinder because I couldn't get any tool on the fitting:
1. call tow - good
2. white out happens while loading car onto trailer - not so good
3. call from Porsche tech that slave cylinder is off - good
4. call from Porsche tech that slave cylinder rod fell into bell housing and car won't be ready today because he had to fish out the rod - bad
5. because of #4, bill went up
6. went to secretary of state for new plates and was in & out in under 20 min - good

See you had our same beautiful spring weather today! The car sounds great. Would be fun to see the reaction at Okemos Auto. You should take it in and tell them it has been sounding different. Might have to come check it out.
