I replaced the pop up spoiler with a fix wing. My issue now is that I'm getting the spoiler retraction warning light because there is no spoiler to retract. I removed the relay but that didn't work. Any ideas ideas will be welcome.

 

There is a specific wiring harness for cars with a fixed wing, under 150 bucks if I recall
Part number should be: 996 612 070 51

Marc and skiracer, thanks for all the info. got the harness today, installed, test drove and no warning light. thanks again. btw: the going price for the harness is $109.00, Suncoast item#9X6TEQBLH.

 

What does the harness do? Just trick the car into thinking the wing is there? Is it just an inline resistor?

Actually it tricks the car into thinking the wing is not there that way you don't get the Spoiler Failure Warning light.
