Default What Pagid Brake Pads?

I am looking to replace my front pads for this year's first DE. I am currently running EBC Redstuff pads. I have heard a few good recommendations for Pagid RS 4-2-1 or the Porsche Sport Pads (I have seen where some believe these are the same pads).

What is the difference between the Pagid RS 4-2-1 and these other Pagid pads?

http://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/200...ml?brand=pagid

I can't find any source that describes the different Pagid pads other than Orange, Black, etc...

black bite the best - but wear pretty fast
I am running yellow (even on street) and happy with them - but on street if you brake with light pressure they make a fair amount of noise - the blacks never made noise

I ran blacks when I had smaller calipers and they were amazing - I dont think either is a bad choice

I run orange in front and black in the rear. It sits down nicely with the extra bite in the rear.

Sorry, I need to be more specific. I am not looking for suggestions for pads. Can someone tell me what Pagid pads are in the link ( http://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/200...ml?brand=pagid ) . The Pagid site only lists a T1231 or T5123 but no W0133-1607963 or anything that looks like RS 4-2-1. How can I identify Pagid part numbers and are they the same as the Porsche Sport pads? Does Pagid make a economy line of pads that is being listed on their site and I should be looking somewhere else for their other part numbers?

Check the Paragon Products web site, they have descriptions of the various Pagid pads.

Ttreat:
This is the description from my 2012 Pagid catalog

"RS4-2-1/RS4-2-2 Black: High Performance compound with low fading characteristics and high cold friction. It is a most comfortable medium friction compound and very easy on the discs (rotors). Very popular for brake upgrades or tuning. It is OE on various Super Sports Cars among others Aston Martin, Bugatti, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lotus, and McLaren. Suitable for street and light track use such as track days or driving education."

Kind regards,

I've been very happy with the RS-29 (yellow) pads for several years.

There is oe replacement pads frokm pagid, whichn I think is the parts you will be getting from partsgeek. The porsche sport are textar, but I'm told tghe are similar tyo the pagid 4-2street sport pads. I would use orange if you more serious about track days but want something streetable.
