I tried to get a K1 attack after i did there Evo. Could not get one in the states. they went out of business shortly after that kit.

Heres a couple more that I have found.

My one and only Ferrari.

This will be my next project. its a mid engine Subaru based kit from Factory Five. I have one on order. Expected delivery of September.

Yeah it's too bad about the K1. I felt it was very unique and had some nice features including the suspension setup.

With your next kit, I'm assuming at a minimum of a ej25 STI motor and 6 speed?

I had the same wrx wagon as you and one of the first to have it in the midwest back in '02. F body and Stangs were in utter shock to say the least at the drag strip since no-one knew what it was back then and not to mention it looked like an ugly grocery getter. Most modified Camaros/Stangs had 50-100+ hp advantage over my stage 3 but couldn't launch worth $hit and were pissed when they lost out. Sad to say, I had to sneak out of there by the day's end.

No I am going to use a stock 02 drivetrain. I guess the 6 speed trans is too long and will not fit. The car will only weigh about 1800 pounds so it will not take much power to make it seriously fast.

Wow, 1800 lbs and '02 stock drivetrain should get you in the high 12's or low 13's. Plenty fast. I had a GC8 chassis with EJ20 turbo transplant. Had the car down to 2300 lbs and with a stage 2 setup, I was able to hit high 12's FWIW...

Please let us know if you decide to document your next kit build. I'd be really interested in following it.

That 33 was my first HotRod from Factory five. It was the first available kit to the public. I have since built 3 more of them for customers. Great looking cars.

Mike, I still have the Ferrari you sold me!! The car has treated me well. The picture of my Ferrari a couple of posts back brought back memories of seing the car in your garage for the first time! now my daily driver is a 996.

I am sure we are all a little car crazy. I have a massive list of all the one's I have owned. I like the old classics you had there.

That black cat walking in front of one of the pictures can't be a good sign.

Wow small world. I really miss the Ferrari. Glad to hear that its treating you well. I have been looking at them ever since I sold that one. Just cannot justify the maintainence on them. Would really like a 360 Coupe.

At least many in the Ferrari world consider the 360 as the first model that started the reliability trend(relatively speaking) amongst Ferrari models.

I just can't believe the roller coaster ride in prices that the 348 has endured. I almost bought one in early 2000 when prices were "low". They seemed to have climbed, just like the Dino 246's currently.

Great builds. I'd love to have a well done Shelby replica.

Thanks for sharing.
