You can't measure throttle response (well, easily) and it may well have been improved, but the main reason I did this was to make sure that my TB was operating at 100% after doing the motor and before going to dyno. It is 14 years old afterall. Would I do it again- yes.

The gears on the other hand are unquestionably wonderful (at least in the context of a track car). The gear set is not cheap but worth every penny IMO. JRG said it feels like 50 more hp and that's about right. I should have done this long ago, but better late than never.

I raced on the w/e at RA which prior was a 3,4 and barely 5 on back straight track. It's now a full 4,5,6 track with occasional 3 in traffic. Before, when shifting to 5 the car would perceptibly hesitate at around 135mph as wind resistance and the large rpm drop conspired to slow the car's acceleration. No more. Now strong pull from each gear- even 5 to 6. Top speed is 157 @ 7k. I have the table and can post it later.

Very nice that you can hit 157mph(not that there's too many tracks where you'll encounter this situation) even with the shorter gears. Did you buy chance select your ratios based primarily on a specific or set of tracks?

G96 gear set from Albins is only available in these ratios. No other ratios I am aware of.
I think they will work well at the tracks I frequent most though quite different (RA, Barber and Sebring).
