Me too for my 996 Turbo.

A washing or even letting the car sit out in the rain will have the belt chirping for a moment or two upon engine start, or even a bit longer than a moment or two with a pretty low volt meter reading that the one time this happened had me fearing a bad alternator.

But the belt/pulleys dry and the belt once again spins all accessory drives properly and with no noise whatsoever.

But the belt never chirps at any other time and is quiet and as best I can tell never slips based the volt meter reading always indicating the alternator is being spun.
