Default Crunching sound when passanger window rolls down and up?

Does this signify window is off track or possibly something else?

xman: Typically means a problem with the regulator, but (as I had happen once) could be that the window glass has come loose from the regulator. Here is a link to a video on removing the door panel:
If you are doing this yourself, be sure to use a heat gun or blow dryer to remove the plastic film inside the door. Be patient and it can be reused. GL

Sounds like a new window regulator is in your future.

Try this. Under the door there are 4 rubber plugs for access to the window reglator assembly, when you take them out you will see 2 plastic pulleys. Squirt oil onto the pivots of the pulleys and actuate the windows up and down and repeat. If it doesn't work, well you lost about 10 minutes out of your life.

Needs a new regulator . I got mine from Pelican Parts and had my body shop put it in, which was far cheaper than any mechanic. Shop rates are typically cheaper at the body shop ($45/hr vs $100+/hr).

Just a note that I finally got around to replacing my window regulator. The video above is perfect for removing the door panel, and this link was what I followed for the re/re or the regulator.

Runs perfect now. If anyone is doing this and needs some help, PM me as it is fresh in my mind.

Thanks !
