FWIW, Speedtech are one of the few left these days using the quality header design with true merge collector and one piece primaries all the way to the flange. More companies back in the day had the same design but due to costs and profits, they've gone to using the cheaper/crude collectors, 2 piece primaries, and stepped primary coupler at the flange.

These are the ones to get these days if you are thinking of a header.
